The
Philosophy

Why exercise directly before a life coaching session?

  • Working out prior to talking with a coach creates a positive mood and sets a confident and energized tone for your session.

  • Exercise releases endorphins, helping you feel calmer and more open emotionally. This mental state can make it easier to access and process feelings during talk sessions.

  • Physical activity improves attention and mental clarity making it easier to reflect and engage deeply afterwards.

  • The effects of exercise can reduce the mental “noise” or defenses that might otherwise block breakthroughs.

  • Exercise can increase somatic awareness (noticing how emotions show up in your body) which is useful in coaching sessions.

What is Life Coaching?

  • Your coach is a partner in working through life’s complexities. A coach is a sounding board, collaborator and motivator for you in tackling specific goals, navigating important life transitions and forming healthier relationships.

  • While confidential in nature, life coaching is not therapy. A life coach is not a clinical professional and is not licensed to provide a medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescribe medication.
